It also gave us Harvey Weinstein, Ken Lay & Jeffrey Skilling, Elizabeth Holmes, and scores of other people who were the subjects of adulatory crap in the press.
Just the simple recognition that CEOs have
the same hours in a week that other people have, so the notion they are really steering the company like it's some sort of outboard motorboat is nonsense, would go a long way.
Sure, they can make good decisions or bad decisions that affect the company, but Musk just gave a great demo of how far the industry disruptor myth takes you.
